The appointments line is open 08:30 - 12:30 and 13:00 - 18:30 Monday to Friday. We offer appointments within 48 hours for those patients who need an urgent appointment (though this may not be with your preferred doctor) as well as advance appointments, which can be booked up to two weeks ahead.You can also book some doctors' appointments online (you will need to register for this with the surgery to do this and have an email address and a mobile phone).
In general, morning surgery is between 08:30 - 11:00 and evening surgery between 14:00 - 18:00. All consultations are by appointment. You can make an appointment to see any of the doctors or the practice nurses.
Surgeries are also held at our West Howe branch surgery each morning between 09:00 - 11:30. If you wish to have an appointment at the branch surgery please ring the either the branch surgery (581981) or the main surgery appointment line and ask for an appointment at the West Howe surgery.
We also offer early-morning appointments (07:30-08:00) on Monday and Friday mornings and evening appointments on Mondays (18:30-20:00).

If you have an urgent problem you will normally be offered a telephone consultation with either the duty doctor or the Triage Nurse (many problems can be managed over the phone). If they feel you need to come down to the surgery to be examined you will be offered a same-day appointment.
A number of five-minute telephone consultations with the doctors are available each day. These can be booked in advance. Just ask reception for a telephone consultation. If the doctor feels you need medication a prescription will be left at reception for you or sent to your choice of pharmacy.
We are working to improve access to appointments for our patients, in particular at evenings and weekends. If you would like to be offered one of these appointments, please ask. These appointments may be at a different site such as Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
