NHS England are now able to automatically extract personally identifiable information about you from our computer system, using its powers under the Health and Social Care Act 2012. At the end of January 2014 all households in England will receive an information leaflet called "Better information means better care". Please read the leaflet carefully. If you have not received the leaflet you can read it here.
If you do not want your details to be extracted, complete one of the opt out forms which can be obtained from Reception or downloaded from the Care Data page. Please note Patients who have opted out of the Summary Care Record (SCR) will still need to complete an opt out form.
Requests for prescriptions are not accepted by telephone.
Please post or deliver by hand your requests - allowing up to 48 hours for collection of your prescription.
Please note that for items that are not on your repeat list you must allow 5 working days.

THE WAY YOU ORDER YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS ONLINE IS CHANGING.
Our current service will cease on the 1st August, 2014.
In order to use the new online service you will need to register at reception with photo ID.
In future our new online service will also include a facility to view and cancel your appointments. You will also be able to book appointments for certain clinics.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
From 1 April 2014, the charges are:
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC. The charge for a single prescription item is £7.65, whereas a three month PPC will cost you £29.10 and a 12 month PPC £104.00.
